!Kona is a professional actor, artist and writer, She has worked with a range of cultural non-profits, is a community events organizer, has a background in governmental social justice work, and currently earns her lucre as a municipal cultural facilitation. in addition to contemplating the next iteration of The Queeriodic Table, Kona is researching and writing her first novel and planning more art projects.
raven salander
Raven Salander has been an aspiring writer since her early teens. She travelled to New York throughout her youth seeking inspiration and connection with the great writers who frequented and lived at The Chelsea Hotel. She holds the distinction of being the only person William Burroughs and Gregory Curso have ever taken out a restraining order against forbidding her from being within 15 city blocks of them or the Chelsea. She may also hold the record of any juvenile to have been deported from the United States a total of 27 times within a four year period. Despite the discouraging rejection of her mentor’s, Raven’s determination, tenacity, resiliency and lack of personal boundaries has enabled her to express through honing the craft of writing to a somewhat competent standard, her deepest and most troubled thoughts and feelings.
kimmortalKimmortal is a multidimensional artist with her original art, songs, raps, and spoken word. Her style and words are influenced by hip hop, honesty, ancestry, spirituality, boldness, and raw heart. This May she will release her first acoustic-soul-hop album and will also star as a leading actress in “Sal Capone: The Lamentable Tragedy Of” a hip hop theatre through Vancouver’s “Urban Ink Productions”. Alessandra Naccarato is a Vancouver-based writer and artist educator with a background in community organizing and zine publishing. Currently completing an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia, she is a three-time Canadian national slam finalist who has toured nationally and internationally as a spoken word artist and facilitated hundreds of creative writing workshops across the country. Her forth-coming album of spoken word and music, Hunger & Lightning, will be released in summer 2014.

Carven Li is an aspiring novelist who grew up in urbanized Hong Kong and is currently living on the ancestral homelands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm/Musqueam, Tsawwassen, Tsleil-Waututh, Skwxwú7mesh and Stó:lō nations. He is grateful to be building community on this unceded, occupied and urbanized territory during this phase of unjust global modernity.

Adrienne Gruber is a poet living in Vancouver. She’s the author of the full-length poetry collection This is the Nightmare (Thistledown Press) and two chapbooks, Mimic (Leaf Press) and Everything Water (Cactus Press), and has a third chapbook forthcoming with Jack Pine Press. She’s usually found hiking on the North Shore with her daughter Q.
